Chamber Programs

Each autumn, the Hinckley Ambassadors are chosen through an application and interview process. The program gives students the opportunity to become more involved in community events, leadership activities, and local organizations throughout the year.

The Ambassador Program helps students build confidence, gain volunteer experience, and develop leadership skills while making a positive impact in the community. Participants also have the chance to connect with local businesses, community leaders, and residents during their term.

Cash Reward

Students in grades 7 through 11 within the Hinckley school district are eligible to earn a cash reward for participating in the Ambassador Program. The reward is presented at the end of the term following Fall Fest.

Program Requirements

• Applicants must be enrolled in the Hinckley school district in grades 7 through 11.
• Participation counts toward volunteer hours and provides valuable community involvement opportunities for college and future applications.
• Ambassadors will be introduced during the Community Dinner event.
• Students should be positive role models and represent the community in a respectful and professional manner.
• Applicants must provide two adult signatures of support and complete an interview process.
• Ambassadors are expected to help with community events throughout the year. A list of available opportunities and duties will be provided.
• The Ambassador term runs for one year, beginning at the start of the school year and continuing through the following year’s Ribfest event.
• At the completion of the term, students who fulfill their responsibilities will receive their designated cash reward.
